look at those little legs im cyrig
oh my god it’s my cat but with half-sized legs??

Yesterday I went on a ‘Walking Dead Tour’ and it was absolutely fucking incredible. I pretty much planned to go to Atlanta so I could do it and it ended up being so fucking amazing!
The tour was half the size of what it usually is so it was a bit more intimate and the start of the tour was somewhere I had already visited while I was frantically trying to not be late for the tour in the Taxi!
I don’t really have much to say about it just because I have no words haha. We went to what’s called the Goat Farm and it was amazing. It was where the Vatos hid out in the forth episode when they captured Glenn and took him to what was later to be found to be a hospital/care house for old people.
But we were walking past this building where Rick was running around trying to figure out what to do and it was just nice seeing it all. I then had a chat to the tour leaders because I love the Walking Dead and we just had a really good conversation about the tour and how popular it is. So we were walking back to the bus and this tour leader pulled me away and said ‘I usually pick one person on each tour and today you are my favourite, look through this window’.
So I put my face up against this window and I see the exact scene of inside the Vatos hide out. Everyone else had walked past not knowing and as soon as you looked inside it looked exactly, the same. My heart sank in my stomach, I felt so overwhelmed with joy to be looking at pretty much the exact set that was used in the tv show, it was crazy! Anyway if you click on the picture above you can see the image which shows you exactly what i’m talking about.
Anyway this ‘Goat Farm’ is this old brewery that was turned into a kind of apartment type place where only artists live. They all live in the top level and all are either studying art or are well known artists already. It was just such a beautiful place and for the Walking Dead crew to find it and incorporate it into the show was really great.
The rest of the tour was pretty much the same as that. We saw the bridge Rick rode in on, the streets where the Tank and Bus were left, the picture above where Rick rode into Atlanta, the CDC, the Vatos hide out, The Sherrifs building used in the first episode and the main building used in the first two episodes where Merle was left to die. It was crazy to see these places being real because so often everything is fake in Tv shows.
Apparently the entire city was shut down for a week so that they could get filming done but unfortunately they didn’t tell a few people with one of them finishing work, walking out the door to see hundreds of zombies walking past her building. I think I would die if that happened to me. But the places are so closely located so you walk a few blocks and you’ve seen half of the first three episodes BUT they are demolishing the bridge that Rick rode in on so it will only be there for a little while longer and then it is gone!
If you go to Atlanta definitely look up the Movie Tour and go on it! It was an incredible experience and I want everyone to go on it!
